Delete your TXPS Sports account and data
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of a TXPS Sports Android app account and its associated information. TXPS Sports is operated by Rest Sports Media.
Delete your account in the app
- Open TXPS Sports and select Profile.
- Select Delete my account.
- Review the warning and confirm.
- If you use Email/Password sign-in and the app asks you to confirm a recent sign-in, enter the password for that account. Do not send your password to support.
- If the app shows a support reference while cleanup is continuing, keep it until the app confirms completion.
The app first prepares a recoverable request and then removes the account’s sign-in. Cleanup of associated information may continue after you are signed out. If cleanup is interrupted, the service retries it. If it still cannot finish, the request is sent for support attention. The app reports completion only after the service confirms that cleanup finished.
An anonymous account can be deleted while its current signed-in session is still available. Public sports facts may remain after information linking them to the account has been removed.
Request deletion without the app
Email info@txpssports.com with the subject TXPS Sports account deletion request. This starts a support request; it does not by itself prove account ownership or complete deletion.
Include only:
- the email address used for the TXPS Sports account, if it is an Email/Password account;
- a brief statement that you want the TXPS Sports account deleted; and
- an in-app support reference, if you already have one.
Do not send a password, sign-in token, account identifier, government ID, screen name, preferred region, score details, identity document, or student data. Support will request only the minimum additional information needed to verify ownership.
We aim to acknowledge the request within seven calendar days. After ownership is verified, we aim to complete the request or explain the specific unresolved reason and escalation path within 30 calendar days.
If an anonymous session has been lost: We currently have no reliable way to connect an email request to that anonymous account. We cannot delete an anonymous account based only on an unverifiable email claim. If the session is still available, use the in-app steps before uninstalling or clearing app data.
What happens to the information
The deletion process removes the sign-in account and private profile. It deletes pending or conflicting score reports and other private records associated with the account, and removes or replaces account identifiers in sports, review, correction, verification, and security records that are allowed to remain. Public sports facts and score history may remain after they no longer identify the contributor.
Records used to confirm the deletion are scheduled to expire 30 days after completion or the related sign-in deletion event. Provider removal happens asynchronously, so an exact deletion time is not promised.
Some de-identified security and audit records may remain longer while their automated retention process is paused. Provider service and security logs may also remain under the periods described in the TXPS Sports Privacy Policy.
We could not verify that no historical manual export, off-project backup, provider log, or similar copy has ever existed. TXPS Sports therefore does not promise immediate deletion from every possible copy. Any retained copy remains subject to access controls and its applicable retention or deletion process.
We may keep the deletion-support email, the minimum information needed to verify ownership, and the case status for 90 days after the case closes. Only authorized personnel handling support, deletion, or escalation may access it. Unnecessary personal details may be removed sooner.
Ordinary email is separate from the Android app’s encrypted service connection. Email-provider transport and end-to-end encryption were not verified, so do not send sensitive information by email.
